Warm atmosphere, old time charm and all kinds of modern comforts characterizes our delicious Tuscany home, restored with a personal touch which gives it warmth and grit, with its ceilings panelled with wooden beams, its niches of antique mizzens and some corners in original stone. The solid foundations of this ancient house, date back to two centuries, when only the plumb line was used to built the internal and external walls.
The house, which belonged to Mr. Bonuccelli, was bought in Washington on the paper by Giovanni Mazzoni, Delfo’s father, who at the time had emigrated in America, so that his family that remained in Italy, could use it.
In fact they lived in it, as it was, until 1945. Since then the house has undergone to several restorations, the last one in 2001, which brought it to the present conditions, using at the best the spaces, the position and the structure advantages, to provide it of all kinds of modern comforts.
Vera, Delfo’s daughter, and her husband Franco, are the present owners who, after the restoration of 2001, manages the property with a lot of care and dedication and lives in the part adjacent to Villa Delfo.
